It is spinning up loudly now and I think it's time to replace it. I tried taking it apart and cleaning it but no luck. It has been flashing yellow and giving me the overheating warning for a few weeks. We also use Time Machine to back up the two laptops. My internet speed on average has always been around 120mbps and plenty for all of our devices.
